Applications for the 2024 DAAD-STIBET scholarship and mentorship program are being accepted by TU Dresden from qualified and deserving international students for the upcoming academic year. The DAAD-STIBET Scholarship is available to any foreign students who want to attend the University of Dresden in Germany.
The recipients of scholarships are TU Dresden’s highly qualified overseas students. The scholarship applicant must have previously applied for a study spot at TU Dresden. Scholarships for Study Completion and Scholarships for Highly Committed Students are also available at TU Dresden.

Regarding the Program:
Highly qualified international students at TU Dresden can apply for Scholarships for Study Completion and Scholarships for Highly Committed Students, which are funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) under the STIBET-Programme. These scholarships are not available to study applicants—those who apply for a study spot at TU Dresden but are not yet enrolled there at the time of the scholarship application).
Qualification Standards:
In order to qualify for the DAAD-STIBET Scholarship program for International Students, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
- All nations from across the world are welcome to apply.
- The award is available for the university’s diploma, bachelor’s, and master’s programs in a variety of areas.
- International students enrolled in TU Dresden at the diploma, bachelor, master, or state exam levels (with the exception of English-taught master’s programs).

- Those scholarships are not available to exchange students, who enroll at TU Dresden for one or two semesters but do not complete their degree program there.
