A Succinct Description
For the academic year 2024–2025, students in the United States have access to a special and immersive educational experience through the Drew University Action Scholars Program. This ground-breaking program gives participants the opportunity to select from among Drew’s broad selection of 45+ majors while concentrating on a first-year curriculum specifically created for the Action Scholars program. The second year increases engagement even further through meetings and immersive activities, which are added to by 100 hours of experiential learning in the real world each year. Drew Action Scholars gain from retreats, town halls, and pitch events outside of the classroom, all of which advance their academic and personal development.
Any of Drew’s more than 45 majors are available to all Action Scholars at Drew. The first-year curriculum provides a solid academic foundation and is specifically created for the Action Scholars program. The second year involves students participating in group activities and immersion learning for 100 hours a year, enhancing their education with real-world knowledge and abilities. Additionally, as a Drew Action Scholar, you will be a member of a thriving community and take part in retreats, town halls, and pitch events that promote teamwork and individual growth. This curriculum is a comprehensive and fulfilling educational journey because all of these immersive experiences and extracurricular activities count toward the required 100 hours of experiential learning.
