For the Mastercard Foundation AfOx Scholarships for study at the University of Oxford for the 2024 academic session, the Africa Oxford Initiative (AfOx) and the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program request applications from young Africans who meet the necessary qualifications.

About Mastercard Foundation AfOx Scholarships 2024
African young adults with enthusiasm, local roots, and a global perspective are supported by the Mastercard Foundation AfOx Scholarship program while they pursue graduate studies at Oxford University. Part of the larger AfOx Graduate Scholars Program is the Scholarship. The Scholarship pays for a demanding one-year taught Master’s program at Oxford designed to give Scholars leadership, entrepreneurship, and technical skills that are applicable to their fields while also connecting them to resources that are among the best in the world. Scholars will receive help to accept 4-6 month assignments in renowned African organizations for their Ubuntu Period of Service after completing their Master’s program.
Eligibility Requirements
In order to be eligible for the Mastercard Foundation AfOx Scholarships 2024, candidates must fulfill the requirements listed below:
- A student from Africa must be interested in pursuing master’s studies at Oxford for the 2024–25 academic year.
- The applicants must hold a relevant bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Candidates must exhibit outstanding academic and research skills.
