The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) is happy to announce the availability of scholarships for the African Masters of Machine Intelligence Program 2024, which are intended for recent graduates from Africa who want to pursue careers in information technology.
The African Masters of Machine Intelligence (AMMI) is a component of the ecosystem being developed by the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) to promote machine learning for the benefit of society at large.

African Masters of Machine Intelligence Scholarship: Basic Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree from an approved institution in mathematics, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field;
- A favorable academic record, typically a minimum grade point average of B (or 80%) or greater;
- Artificial intelligence, machine learning, and/or related interests and/or experience as evidenced by courses taken and projects completed;
- While enrolling at AMMI, agree to mentor one undergraduate student at your prior university; after graduation, permission to mentor an AMMI student;
- Strong interest in using science and technology to solve regional or continental challenges.

Application Methods
How to Apply: A full scholarship is automatically awarded to any student accepted into the AMMI program. Candidates who are interested and qualified can continue to apply for admission via the online application portal and submit all necessary information to be considered for the scholarship.
