TOPIC: Pointers To Accessing Light (Seeds Of Destiny 22 December 2023)
SCRIPTURE: But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them. 1 Corinthians 2:9.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Lovers of God are lighted by God.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2023 MESSAGE:
It has been established that the relevance of light or insight to the fulfilment of destiny cannot be over emphasized. Light is needed to become anything and everything God wants you to be on earth.
Now, the question is: what are the keys to accessing light?
i. Love for God.
1 Corinthians 2:9 says,
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them.
Lovers of God are lighted by God. Love for God is expressed in time spent with Him; it is the expression of your affection for Him; it is expressed in the release of your sacrifices because love gives. When you are a true lover of God, you know, people know, and the devil knows that you love God. And when you love God, you cannot lack access to light.
ii. Desperation for light.
Hosea 6:3 says,
Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
Desperation is a secret of access to light. As long as you are interested in knowledge, you shall know. For example, you can become desperate to know the keys to success in ministry, supernatural supplies, soul-winning, career success, etc. This desperation will open to you the fountain of light leading to explosive success in those realms.
Beloved, are you a lover of God? Are you desperate to know? Your love for God and desperation for light will lead you to the corridors of Light and greater possibilities in life.
Remember this: Lovers of God are lighted by God.
ASSIGNMENTS:
- Examine and ask yourself: Do I really love God unconditionally? Am I passionate about Him?
- Ask God to ignite in your heart, fresh passion, love and desperation for Him like He did to David in Psalm 42.
PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You ignite Your love in my heart. I receive the grace to love you unconditionally, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
