TOPIC: The Proof Of Dedication To God (Seeds Of Destiny 21 November 2021)

The buoyancy of prayer with the abundance of the Word in your spirit is proof of dedication to God.

SCRIPTURE: But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. Acts 6:4

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The buoyancy of prayer with the abundance of the Word in your spirit is proof of dedication to God.

Passion for God is a major trigger for the release of God’s glory. A major secret for seeing greater dimensions of God’s glory is having unquenchable passion for God. (Ex. 33:18; Ps. 63:1-2). Your passion for God determines your portion in God; your passion for God determines your portion with God.

One of the manifestations of deep passion for God is total dedication to God. A passionate Christian is one who is totally dedicated to God. You cannot be passionate for God and not be dedicated to Him. A person who lacks passion for God has zero dedication to Him. So, dedication is a proof of passion for God; brutal dedication to God is a product of undying passion for God.

A major proof of dedication is dedication to prayer and the Word of God. This means, one of the proofs of dedication in the life of a Christian is his disposition to prayer and the Word of God.

From our anchor Scripture, we understand that the apostles made up their mind to devote themselves to prayer and the ministry of the Word of God. This means, you cannot claim to be dedicated to God and be prayerless or wordless. The buoyancy of prayer with the abundance of the Word in your spirit is proof of dedication to God.

Beloved, if you desire to be on fire for God always; if your desire is to have an unbroken communion with God, you must make up your mind to be devoted to prayer and the study of the Word.

Remember this: The buoyancy of prayer with the abundance of the Word in your spirit is proof of dedication to God.

Be passionately given to the lifestyle of prayer and the study of the Word.
