We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Loan Collections Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Ensuring & Monitoring repayments from a portfolio of Debtors.
• Define and manage the debt collections business processes.
• Collecting and summarizing data for a complete and detailed financial / data recovery report for Management and Clients use.
• Definition and performance management of Target KPAs / KPIs Monitoring the volume, quantum and quality of outbound calls made by the DCOs.
• Developing strategies for the resolution and the collection of bad debt.
• Developing and implementing strategies to improve overall collections.
• Oversee the business’ financial collections department. Supervise collections team to ensure all loan repayments are made in a timely fashion.
• Be involved in interviews for new members of the collections team Train and retrain new collections team members.
• Performance management and evaluation of the collections team.
• Ensure that all company policies regarding loans collections are adhered to by the collections team.
• Liaise with internal solicitors to ensure that cases referred to them for legal action are handled with efficiency.
• Be actively involved in planning of the job that concerns you
• Negotiate loan repayment plans where necessary.
• Minimize the company’s financial losses from bad loans.
• Report the collection department’s progress and statistics to the management.
• Present collections performance information to management to highlight trends or achievements.
• Handle escalated delinquent accounts.
• Motivate staff accordingly.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess an HND qualifications with 2-3 years work experience.

Salary
N100,000 – N120,000 / Month.
