TOPIC: Holy Spirit And Anointing (I) (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Daily Devotional 25 March 2021)

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 61:1-3 (KJV)
1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
MEMORY VERSE: “And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” – Isaiah 10:27

The MESSAGE:
Christianity is not a religion of the lazy ones. Christianity has power and the only way to receive that power is to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit and then the anointing. When the anointing of the Holy Spirit comes upon your head, your life will never remain the same. You will become another man. The only thing that makes you different from other Christians is the anointing of the Holy Spirit upon your head. The presence of the Holy Spirit in your life will make a huge difference in your Christian walk. To anoint is to pour oil upon a person or a thing for a divine purpose (Leviticus 8:10-12).
Anointing will make you to do supernatural things. That is, you will move from being an ordinary person to a supernatural person. With the anointing of the Holy Spirit, all impossibilities in your life will become possible. It is the supernatural equipment for supernatural assignment. It is God’s extra touch upon your life. When the anointing comes upon you, you will receive the boldness to witness to others because it replaces shyness with boldness (Acts 1:8). Anointing will prepare you for battle against the powers of darkness, because when the battle comes in contact with the higher power, it gives way. The anointing of the Holy Spirit can generate wealth for you. Jesus had this anointing as it can be seen in various ways: He changed water to wine; He fed 5000 people with five loaves of bread and two fishes. Elijah had this anointing too, when he prayed and the widow had increasing flow of oil.
Beloved, when you allow Jesus Christ to have His way in your life and you receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, you will also receive this anointing to generate wealth. Anointing will give you wisdom, heal your broken heart, set you free from the captivity of satan and destroy evil yokes of poverty, curses and covenants.
Beloved, if you really want to be set apart for the use of God, you don’t want to be an ordinary church goer, you want to be relevant in God’s Kingdom, you must pray for the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
Holy Spirit, baptise me afresh now, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Holy Spirit, saturate my life with Your fresh fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Holy Spirit, dry up every strange anointing in my life, in the name of Jesus Christ.
EVENING
Every resistance to the power of the Holy Spirit in my life, die now, in the name of Jesus Christ.
My life shall not grieve the Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Holy Spirit, make my life Your dwelling place, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Holy Spirit, guide me, help me and comfort me daily, in the name of Jesus.
