TREM Devotional

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 KJV

When Jesus was about to go to the Cross, He told the disciples that in Him they will have peace. ‘Peace’ is from the Hebrew word ‘Shalom’. And it means nothing broken, nothing missing! In Him, we have peace! Jesus doesn’t have sickness; therefore, you can’t have it. Jesus doesn’t have poverty; therefore, you can’t have it. He doesn’t have sin; therefore, you can’t have it. The world is full of tribulation. But in Him you have peace! So, fear not and fret not. Be of good cheer, Jesus has taken care of it. He has deprived the world of the power to hurt you. The world cannot hurt you because God has given you immunity in Him. When the enemy brings any challenge against your life, Jesus lifts you up.

According to the book of 1John 5:4: “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith” (KJV). Whosoever is born of God overcomes the world system. The world system is already under your feet. So, don’t let yourself be put down by the system of the world. The world is not designed to help you. The world will attempt to suck you in but in Christ, you are above the system of the world because you are born of God. Therefore, the enemy cannot trip you. Sin will not be your lifestyle because you know who you are. You cannot fail and you cannot commit sin because the seed of God is inside you. And the seed of God and sin cannot coexist. The seed of God and failure cannot coexist. The seed of God and sickness cannot coexist. You have the seed of God in you. The evil one cannot touch you! In all things, you are more than a conqueror. In Him, you have peace! You will not die! You will live!
