Canadian University Mastercard Scholarship | Requirements
The following requirements must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the Mastercard Scholarship at the University of Toronto in 2024:
- Currently reside in a nation of Sub-Saharan Africa as a citizen.
- Be a student who is graduating or who has already graduated from a partner institution of the African Higher
- Education Health Collaborative and who has not yet enrolled in graduate-level coursework.
- Have exhibited leadership abilities and academic brilliance during their undergraduate years.
- Be eligible to enroll in one of the supported graduate programs academically.
- Show that you want to stay in Africa when you graduate in order to support the continent’s continuous social and economic development.
Application Methods

First Step:
Prospective applicants must first review the entrance specifications for the program of study they have chosen. If your academic qualifications match those of your desired program, proceed to step two.
Second Step:
Fill out the Mastercard Foundation Scholarship application and register to attend a scholarship information session. The primary location for graduate applications at the university is the School of Graduate Studies (SGS).
