University of Calgary’s Canada International Entrance Scholarship – 2024
Applications for the University of Calgary’s Energizing Canada International Entrance Scholarship are now being accepted from adequately qualified candidates. Every year, the University of Calgary offers this grant to one overseas student starting their first year in an undergraduate program.
This program is renewable in the University of Calgary’s second, third, and fourth years, as long as participants earn at least a 3.00 GPA over a minimum of 24.00 units during the preceding fall and winter terms.

Qualification Standards
In order to qualify for the Energizing Canada International Entrance Scholarship, candidates need to fulfill the necessary requirements:
- Candidates have to be foreign students.
- Candidates must possess academic merit.
- Candidates must have a need for money.
- Candidates must be graduates of a Chinese high school that is accredited, including those in Hong Kong and Macau.
- Preference will be given to a student starting a program in urban studies for their bachelor’s degree in arts, science, engineering, or commerce.
Procedures for Applications
How to Apply: To be considered for the Energizing Canada International Entrance Scholarship, interested and qualified candidates must first submit an admissions application. After submitting your admissions application, you will have access to the award application within 24 to 48 hours.
