In order to honor outstanding international students and their academic achievements, Yunnan University in China has decided to give the President’s Scholarships for International Students for the academic year 2022-2023.
All overseas students enrolled in Yunnan University’s basic academic program in their second or later year who wish to be considered for this scholarship award are welcome to submit an application. The scholarship has a 4,000 Yuan maximum award and can be applied to undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral studies.

Eligibility Requirements
For consideration for the Presidential Scholarships for International Students at Yunnan University, China 2022–2033, all applicants must fulfill the requirements listed below:

Application Process for Presidential Scholarships
The sole remaining method for applying legitimately is as follows:
- The university’s application website must be used to submit an online admissions application. This process will be applied to all eligible students.
Required Papers Students must provide the following papers to the university:
- A demand form
- Passport transcripts, a secondary high school diploma, or an equivalent transcript, a master’s degree certificate, or an equivalent, and a certificate attesting to the successful completion of a bachelor’s degree
- Two recommendation letters
- Receipt for the registration fee from the bank accompanying the study or research plan.
- Entry prerequisites: The candidates must provide all necessary documentation in either Chinese or English.
- Scanned copies are also acceptable.
- For economics and management, candidates must have an HSK 4 of at least 210, and for science, they must have an HSK 4 of at least 195.
