University of Queensland’s Research Training Program (RTP) – 2024
RTP is a component of the University of Queensland Graduate School Scholarships (UQGSS). For the Research Training Program (RTP) scholarships 2024 to study at the University of Queensland in Australia, applications are now being accepted from qualified candidates. Both domestic and foreign students may apply for the scholarship.
The scholarship provides all postgraduate applicants with a living allowance of $32,192 per year, tax-free (2023 rate), which is increased annually, as well as one OSHC for three and a half (3.5) years with the option of an additional year.

Eligibility Requirements for RTP Scholarships at the University of Queensland 2024
The following are eligibility requirements for this scholarship:
- Must meet all requirements for admission to the higher degree by research program, including being Domestic or International students, being nominated by a UQ enrolling school or institute.
- Being judged by the Graduate School to have done so.
- To enroll in the higher degree by research program, a student cannot be receiving a living allowance award or scholarship that provides a benefit greater than 75% of the RTP Scholarship living allowance rate.

How to Apply: Before submitting your application, be sure you read the instructions for the Master of Philosophy (MPhil) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). Online application forms must be completed and submitted by applicants.
When you apply for a PhD or MPhil, you must also apply for this scholarship. No additional scholarship application is required.
