TOPIC: He Has Done It (TREM Devotional 5 October 2024)

Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.” Genesis 17:5 (KJV)

Wisdom For The Day MESSAGE:

Child of God, you must always recognize that you are a child of the kingdom and God has finished all that concerns you before He ever made the promise to you. All you need do is begin to walk towards that which is already perfected in God. God changed Abraham’s name and made him a father of many nations ever before it happened. When God gives you His word, that is not when he is preparing it. It is already prepared. God expects you to begin to walk towards it. It is in walking towards it that you become it. That is what faith is. He says it to tell you what has already been done in the Spirit. It is your walking towards it, whether it looks like it or not, that produces what God has spoken. That is what is called faith.

Without faith, it is impossible to please God. It is impossible to be all that God made you to be if you are not walking in faith. It pleases God to see His children walking towards what He has promised. If you must develop the faith that pleases God, you must read the bible daily.

The word is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified (Acts 20:32). And faith comes by hearing the word of God (Romans 10:17). Secondly, change your thinking by the word. (Romans 12:1-2). Let your thoughts align with God’s word and promises for your life. Let the word of God form the content of your thoughts.

Refuse negative mindsets by casting down every thought that is contrary to the finished work of Christ on the cross. Build up yourself in your most holy faith by praying in the Holy Ghost. “He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself……….” (1 Corinthians 14:4 KJV). This way you will re-program your mind and wash off anything that is negative.
