[TREM Devotional 1 December 2022] Topic: Do The Needful

TOPIC: Do The Needful (TREM Devotional 1 December 2022)

“But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her”. – Luke 10:42 (KJV)

Wisdom For The Day MESSAGE:

In a world that is filled with uncertainty, insecurity and hopelessness, and in a world where there’s all kinds of blood shedding, confusion and violence in a dimension that’s never seen before and more especially at this pandemic, it so vitally important that our lives be anchored on what is unshakable. We must be anchored on what cannot be moved, very important. We live in a world where a lot of people, even believers are trivializing the real thing that will make them stand above the challenges of life, which is the very word of God.

Some are saying that the scripture does not say exactly what it says. Some say the bible cannot be understood and makes all kinds of insinuations concerning the scriptures. It does not matter what you say. The truth is that a natural man cannot understand the things of the spirit of God because they are foolishness to him, neither can he know them because they are spiritually discerned (1 Corinthians 2:14). God says exactly what he means and mean what he says.

Jesus entered a certain village and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house and she had a sister called Mary which also sat at Jesus feet and heard his Word. But Martha was going about serving, and more interested in other things other than what was most important which is; the Word of God. Martha was upset that her sister left her to do all the serving. Jesus answered her, Martha you are careful and troubled about many things, but one thing is needful. There are many things troubling you right now, there are many things challenging your life, there are many things upsetting you and there are a lot of difficulties surrounding you. But you’ve refused to acknowledge that one thing is needful, and Mary had chosen that good part which shall not be taken away from her. I encourage you to do the needful which is to give attention to God’s word.

Daily Bible Reading:
Morning – Ezekiel 40-41,
Evening – 2 Peter 3

DAILY CONFESSIONS: November 27th – December 3rd

The blessing of the Lord shall come upon me and overtake me because I am a doer of the word of God. I declare that I am blessed in the city and the field. I am blessed in the fruit of my ground. I am blessed in my basket and my storehouse. I am blessed when I go in and when I go out. The enemies that rise up against me shall be smitten before my face.

They shall come one way and flee seven ways. The Lord shall command His blessing upon my storehouses and in all that I set my hands to do. He shall establish me as a holy person unto Himself. The people of the earth shall see that I am called by the name of the Lord and shall be afraid of me. The Lord shall make me plenteous in goods in all areas of my life.

The Lord shall open unto me His good treasure. The heaven to give me rain in its season. All the works of my hand shall be blessed. I am a lender and not a borrower. I am the head and not the tail. I am above and not beneath. (Deuteronomy 28:2-13). The Lord crownest my year with His goodness; and my paths shall drop fatness. (Psalm 65:11)

Every day and in every way I am getting better: spiritually, physically, financially, mentally, morally, and in all my endeavours.

I am called for a purpose. I will fulfill this purpose and I will arrive at God’s ordained destiny for my life. Nothing will cut me short. I will make a formidable impact in my world for the Kingdom.

IT IS MY WEEK OF ACCELERATION!
