The Maynooth University Taught Master’s Scholarships are partially funded awards for international students pursuing a full-time master’s program. Each scholarship is valued at €2,000 and will be granted to academically outstanding candidates across all disciplines.
A total of 60 scholarships will be awarded, with recipients ranked separately in each department or institute based on final-year undergraduate results.

The Maynooth University Taught Master’s Scholarship provides:
A €2,000 award per student.
For two-year programs, the scholarship is available only in the first year.
To qualify for the Maynooth University Scholarship 2026, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Required Language: English.
Eligible Countries: Open to all international applicants.
Must intend to pursue a full-time master’s program starting in 2025.
Must satisfy entry requirements for a Maynooth University taught master’s program and apply via www.pac.ie.
Applicants must hold at least a 2.1 honours undergraduate degree.
Non-Maynooth graduates must upload official final degree transcripts to PAC.ie by June 30, 2025.
If applicants received an undergraduate grant in their final year, supporting documents should be uploaded as this may be considered where rankings are tied.
Graduates or current students of Master’s or PhD programs are not eligible. For research programs, candidates should apply for the John & Pat Hume Doctoral Research Awards.

Certified copies of transcripts for all non-Maynooth qualifications.
Birth certificate or valid passport (for non-Maynooth students).
Names and contact details of two referees (academic or professional).
Apply for the Scholarship – Submit a separate application for the Taught Master’s Scholarship:
