Participants in the CERN Student Programme will receive:
A fully funded contract ranging from 2 to 12 months
A monthly allowance of 3,452 Swiss Francs (net of tax)
A travel allowance to and from CERN
A family supplement (if applicable) for married participants and/or those with children
Full health insurance coverage through CERN (deducted from allowance)
2.5 days of paid leave per month

To be considered for the CERN Student Programme, applicants must:
Be a citizen of a CERN Member or Associate Member State
Have completed at least 18 months (or 3 semesters) of undergraduate studies by November 2025
Be enrolled as a full-time student during the entire duration of the internship
Have a good command of English or French

If you are studying in a STEM or engineering field, you are not eligible for this particular internship. Please apply instead to the CERN Technical Student Programme.
