The Bette Allison Scholarship was established through a generous bequest from Bette Allison to The University of Western Australia (UWA). This scholarship aims to provide financial support and encouragement to eligible students facing financial hardship who are pursuing a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Sciences.
Founded in 1911, UWA is one of Australia’s leading research-intensive institutions. The University offers a range of scholarships, including the UWA International Fee Scholarships (UIFS), which support students enrolled in Higher Degrees by Research (HDR). These programs are partly funded by the Australian Government’s Research Training Program (RTP) under the Higher Education Support Act 2003, and they are designed to assist both domestic and international students pursuing postgraduate research degrees.
