📌 The funding ranges from €3,000 to €22,000 for one academic year. Students enrolled in two-year Master’s programs may receive an additional grant for the second year, provided they meet academic performance requirements.
To qualify for the University of Twente Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
Apply for and secure admission into a Master’s program at UT before applying for the scholarship.
Possess a student number issued after admission.
Not be a graduate of a UT Bachelor’s program (current UT undergraduates are not eligible).
Meet the conditions for obtaining a Dutch entry visa (if required).
Meet the English language requirement:
IELTS 6.5 overall (with at least 6.0 in speaking) OR
TOEFL iBT 90 overall (with at least 20 in speaking).
Not be eligible for a Dutch student loan.
Belong to the top 5–10% of your academic class.
Award Amount: €3,000 – €22,000 per year (based on academic merit).
Scholarship is intended to cover study-related expenses (flexible usage).
For two-year programs, continuation of the scholarship into the second year requires:
A minimum average grade of 7/10 by the end of the third quartile of Year 1.
Completion of at least 50% of European Credits (ECs) by the same period.
Additional scholarships may be awarded to UTS recipients starting in September intakes.
