These amounts are directly applied to tuition fees.
Partial exemption from the additional tuition fees charged to international students:
Research Track:
$15,150/year (3 sessions = 45 credits)

Non-Research Track:
$10,788.75/year
$239.75/credit
These waivers reduce the financial burden significantly and are applied toward tuition fees.
Complete exemption from international tuition surcharges:
$22,908.60/year (3 sessions = 45 credits)
$509.08/credit
PhD recipients pay the same tuition rates as domestic Québec students.
To be considered for the Université de Montréal Scholarship, candidates must:
Be international students (not Canadian citizens or permanent residents)
Hold a valid study permit
Be enrolled full-time in a degree program throughout the duration of their studies
Not benefit from any other tuition exemption policy (e.g., French and Belgian Francophone students)
Demonstrate strong academic performance

Once you receive your admission offer, accept it to automatically enter the scholarship evaluation process. No separate form is required for the scholarship.
After admission confirmation, Université de Montréal will notify you via email of your scholarship award and its exact amount. Be sure to keep a copy of this document for future reference.
