The Discover Canada – Alberta 2026 Cultural Exchange Program invites young leaders, students, and creators from around the world to embark on a transformative four-day journey through the heart of Alberta. This unique program combines cultural immersion, sustainability learning, and youth diplomacy, giving participants the chance to experience Canada like never before.
Hosted across Calgary, Banff, and Kananaskis, the program will welcome 30 global participants to explore Canada’s rich Indigenous heritage, breathtaking natural landscapes, and diverse multicultural traditions.
Organized by Candiscover, this initiative promotes global citizenship, intercultural dialogue, and youth leadership development. Alberta—home to the 51st G7 Summit in 2025—is not only one of Canada’s most scenic provinces but also a global hub for sustainability and cultural diplomacy.
The Discover Canada 2026 Exchange aims to:
🌍 Strengthen intercultural understanding between Canadian communities and global youth.
🪶 Highlight Indigenous knowledge systems and Canada’s approach to sustainability.
🤝 Promote peacebuilding and leadership through dialogue and shared experiences.
✨ Build a network of youth ambassadors for diversity and global responsibility.
🚶 Deliver an immersive cultural and educational adventure across Alberta.
Over four enriching days, participants will:
Visit Indigenous community centers and cultural landmarks.
Hike through Banff National Park’s glacial lakes and mountain trails.
Join workshops on youth leadership, cultural storytelling, and environmental stewardship.
Engage in interactive dialogues with peers from diverse backgrounds.
Expand their global networks with like-minded youth leaders and professionals.
Selected participants may receive fully funded or partially funded scholarships, which may include:
Accommodation & meals throughout the program
In-country travel across Alberta
Guided tours and program activities

Visa assistance and official invitation letters (if required)
