To be eligible for the Deakin International Scholarship 2026, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Language: Proficient in English
Nationality: Open to students from all countries
Be a prospective international student applying for a coursework degree (undergraduate or master’s) at Deakin
Meet Deakin University’s academic admission requirements
Have achieved a minimum average of 65% (or equivalent) in previous academic studies
⚠️ Note: Selection is competitive. Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee a scholarship. Higher scores may be needed for successful selection due to limited scholarship availability.

Write a 300-word personal statement explaining your goals and suitability (details below)
Compile all documents into one submission package
Submit Your Application
Send your completed scholarship application and supporting documents via email to the Deakin International Admissions Office
You may also be invited for an interview as part of the selection process
Your personal statement should be written in your own words and must include:
Why you want to study at Deakin University
Your extracurricular, leadership, volunteer, or work experience
Why you believe you would be an outstanding ambassador for Deakin
Any additional achievements or personal strengths that support your application
Successful applicants will be notified within six weeks of submission
Scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis and subject to international student quotas
