The Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship is one of the most prestigious achievement-based scholarships in the United States, celebrating students who demonstrate exceptional leadership, service, and commitment to making a positive impact in their schools and communities.
Now in its 37th year, the program has supported more than 7,000 Coca-Cola Scholars with over $87 million in educational funding. Each year, 150 students are selected to receive a $20,000 scholarship to pursue undergraduate studies at accredited U.S. institutions.
The application for the 2026 class (for students graduating in the 2025–2026 academic year) opens on August 1, 2025. Please note: the 2025 application cycle is now closed.

Recipients of the Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship receive:
$20,000 in financial support for undergraduate education
Access to an influential alumni network of Coca-Cola Scholars making global impact
Applicants must:
Be current high school or home-schooled students in the U.S., District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or select DoD schools, graduating in the 2025–2026 academic year
Be U.S. Citizens, U.S. Nationals, U.S. Permanent Residents, Refugees, Asylees, Cuban-Haitian Entrants, or Humanitarian Parolees (as defined by the U.S. Department of Education for federal aid)
Expect to receive a high school diploma in the 2025–2026 academic year
Plan to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution
Have a minimum 3.0 GPA (B average) in high school coursework
Applicants are not eligible if they are:
Children or grandchildren of current employees, officers, or owners of Coca-Cola bottling companies, The Coca-Cola Company, or subsidiaries
Children or grandchildren of former Coca-Cola employees currently receiving retirement benefits
International students (except those attending DoD schools)
High school graduates prior to 2025–2026

The Coca-Cola Scholars selection involves four phases:
Phase 1: Online Application
Opens August 1 – September 30, 2025
Requires no essays, no transcripts, and no recommendations
Phase 2: Semifinalists
By late October, ~1% of applicants will advance as Semifinalists
Required to submit essays, transcripts, and a recommendation by November
Phase 3: Regional Finalists
~250 Semifinalists will advance as Regional Finalists
Interviews with Coca-Cola Scholar alumni and staff will be conducted in late January or early February 2026
Phase 4: Coke Scholars Selection
150 students will be named Coca-Cola Scholars
Selected scholars will attend the Coke Scholars Weekend in Atlanta, April 23–26, 2026, to confirm their award
