105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

MESSAGE:

After a fellow receives Jesus Christ into his or her heart, the journey of intimacy with the Lord begins. The main instrument that will aid a Christian on this journey is the word of God.

Today’s memory verse talks about the significance of the word of God, which is the foundation upon which a believer should build his or her faith.

John 1:1 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” God’s word is Him in person. You cannot have an intimate relationship with God if you do not know His word. Also, for everything that pertains to life, whether physically, spiritually, or financially, there’s a word that can be applied. However, many are oblivious to this because they don’t study the word. Joshua 1:8 says: This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

PRAYER POINT
Father, please put an undying hunger and thirst for Your word in me.
