Applicants should be aware that the 2023–2024 Thomas Jefferson Scholarship Program (TJSP) is merit-based and available to anybody who:
Is a citizen of Tunisia, resides there at the moment,
Is enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student at a recognized academic institution in Tunisia in good standing at the time of application
Engineering students can apply in their first or second year of preparation classes, as well as their third and fourth year of undergraduate study, provided they meet the following requirements:
They can obtain a J-1 visa for the United States; they must be at least eighteen years old by July 1, 2024
They must be committed to returning to Tunisia upon program completion
They must be able to obtain a TOEFL score of at least 500
