A Succinct Description
At Teesside University, every student will enjoy a truly global teaching and learning experience. In order to encourage applications from international students in subjects where they are currently underrepresented, particularly in our School of Social Sciences, Humanities & Law and in the School of Arts & Creative Industries, we are glad to provide Deans’ foreign Scholarships.
In their first full academic year of study, all qualified applicants on a foundational, undergraduate, or postgraduate program are given a Scholarship of £3,000 as a cost waiver. The scholarship is not available to applicants to the Teesside University International Study Centre’s foundation or gateway programs, but it will be when they transfer to a full degree program there.

Eligibility Requirements
For the Deans’ International Scholarships at Teesside University in the UK for the academic years 2023–24, all applicants must fulfill the requirements listed below:
- You must either have attended Bangor University in the past OR be a relative (spouse, sibling, child, grandchild, etc.) of an international Bangor University alumnus.
- You must have some or all of your own funding. Those who are fully sponsored by a third party are not eligible for the Scholarship.
- exclusively for students who are paying the appropriate levels of international tuition.
Application Method
The sole remaining method for applying legitimately is as follows:
- Applying for a foundational, undergraduate, or postgraduate degree in the School of Social Sciences, Humanities & Law or in the School of Arts & Creative Industries at Teesside for the first time.
- A full-time international student starting their studies in September 2023 who is supported or paying for themselves
- Please be aware that you cannot combine this scholarship with any other Teesside University honorarium.
