Global Undergraduate Exchange Program 2024–2025: Applications for the 2024–2025 academic year are now being accepted by the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (UGRAD). University students can apply for a competitive non-degree undergraduate study abroad opportunity in the United States through the Global UGRAD program.

Outstanding undergraduate students from all over the world are eligible to apply for a one-semester scholarship under the Global UGRAD program, which combines non-degree full-time education with professional development, cultural enrichment, and community service.

The details of the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program 2024–2025

Qualification Standards: The primary target audience for this program is non-citizens of the US who reside abroad. In order to qualify, applicants must:

• Be older than eighteen
• Be a resident of a nation that is UGRAD participating and a citizen of that nation.
• Be enrolled as an undergraduate in good standing at any public or private institution that has been accredited, and at the end of the UGRAD program, have at least one semester left to complete at their home university.
• Possess finished their secondary education in their nation of origin
• Possess a strong command of both written and spoken English (some finalists may be able to obtain English language instruction).
• Be allowed to start research in the US in 2024 (participants who are chosen may not postpone)
• Possess the necessary qualifications to get and keep the US student exchange visa (J-1) needed for the program.
• Obtain medical clearance to engage in the program.
• Firmly believe that, upon program completion, they will return home.

How to Apply: To apply for the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program 2023–2024, go to the Fulbright Commission in your country of origin or the Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy.

The deadline to apply is February 6, 2023.
