Details of the General International Undergraduate Scholarships for 2024
There are numerous international undergraduate scholarships available, which fall into two main categories: scholarships based on application and scholarships based on admission. The Gold Standard Scholarship, which awards students up to $6,000 CAD, the Regional Excellence Scholarship, and the International Admission Scholarship are examples of admission-based scholarships.
The Global Citizen Scholarship for IB Diploma International Students, which offers students up to $120,000 CAD over four years, is one of the application-based scholarships offered by the University of Alberta, the President’s International Distinction Scholarship, the International Leader Scholarship, and May Quon Undergraduate Scholarship.
Qualification Standards
Interested candidates must fulfill the following criteria in order to be considered for the University of Alberta’s General International Scholarships:
- Must be accepted to the University of Alberta in order to enroll in a qualifying undergraduate program for the 2024–2025 academic year.
- Must exhibit outstanding academic aptitude.
- Must exhibit traits of leadership.
Procedures for Applications
How Do I Apply? You must first apply for a study spot at the University of Alberta in order to be considered for the University of Alberta General International Scholarships. Applicants must additionally complete the scholarship application form before the application deadline in order to be eligible for application-based scholarships.
