Details President’s Scholarship for International Students University of Ottawa Scholarships
1.) President’s Scholarship for International Students:
One full-time undergraduate international student will receive the prize. It is one of the most distinguished scholarships at the University of Ottawa and is worth $30,000.
A student visa, a minimum entrance average, leadership abilities, and a dedication to extracurricular and academic activities are required of applicants. As long as the student maintains full-time enrollment, international student status, and a minimum CGPA of 8.50, the scholarship may be renewed for the three years after that. The University additionally offers $1,500 one-time awards to the second, third, and fourth-place finishers.

2.) The Chancellor’s Scholarship for International Students:
Is one of the most coveted scholarships at the institution. It is given to full-time undergraduate international students and is worth $26,000. For the final three years of their undergraduate education, students can extend their scholarships. The applicant must have a valid student visa, exhibit leadership qualities, and commit to both academic and extracurricular pursuits. The University additionally offers $1,500 one-time awards to the second, third, and fourth-place finishers.

3.) Arts Faculty Dean’s Scholarship for Merit
Ten of these renewable awards, each worth $4,000, are given by the Faculty of Arts. The university’s Faculty of Arts must accept applicants who are enrolled full-time and for the first time in an undergraduate degree. If a student is enrolled full-time in the Faculty of Arts and has a cumulative grade point average of 9.00 or higher at the end of a semester, the scholarship is renewable. There is no application process for this scholarship. The applicant receives the scholarship over the summer before they begin their studies.
4.) Engineering Faculty Dean’s Scholarship for Merit
35 of these scholarships are given out by the Faculty of Engineering to deserving candidates. The award has a maximum value of $5,000. The Faculty of Engineering requires that applicants be enrolled full-time and for the first time in an undergraduate program.
All qualified students, including those who are international students, are automatically considered for this scholarship; there is no need to submit an application.
5. Engineering Faculty Memorial Scholarship
Seven female students—one from each of the engineering programs—receive this scholarship from the Faculty of Engineering. Students must submit a statement outlining their motivations for enrolling in an engineering program along with an updated résumé outlining their most recent extracurricular and academic accomplishments in order to be considered for admission. Online applications are required.
This fellowship is open to all female students accepted into the Faculty of Engineering, including those from other countries.

6.) Faculty of Social Sciences Dean’s Excellence Award for International Students:
The Dean’s Excellence Award for International Students at the Faculty of Social Sciences is given to the top international student who is admitted and enrolled full-time for the first time in an undergraduate degree at the Faculty of Social Sciences. The grant is worth $1,500. Online applications are required.

7. Scholarship for Student Mobility
