Brief Description
The Stamps Scholarship is the most esteemed merit award offered to University of Miami students. Seniors in high school who exhibit excellence and academic achievement are given this grant.
The tuition for four years of undergraduate study is fully covered by a merit scholarship awarded to Stamps Scholars. The scholarship provides access to a $12,000 enrichment fund that can be used for study abroad, undergraduate research, unpaid internships, and other educational opportunities in addition to covering tuition and fees, living on campus, a meal plan, health insurance through the university, textbooks, and a laptop allowance. (Expenses from the enrichment fund must first have prior approval from the Office of the Provost.)

Eligibility Requirements
For consideration for the University of Miami Stamp Scholarships for International Students, USA 2023–24, all applicants must fulfill the requirements listed below:
- When Early Decision I and Early Action applicants submit all First-Year Admission Requirements by November 1 to apply for early admission to UM, they are automatically taken into consideration.
- Every academic year, a Stamps Scholar must complete a full-time undergraduate program of study with a minimum of 24 credits, including at least 12 courses in both the fall and spring semesters. An academic year-long minimum
- GPA of 3.0 is required at the University of Miami, with the initial calculation taking place at the end of the second semester of enrollment.

Application Method
The sole remaining method for applying legitimately is as follows:
- In order to be considered for early admission to UM, Early Decision I and Early Action applicants must finish all first-year admission requirements by November 1.
- In order to move on to the semifinal phase of the Stamps Scholarship competition, applicants must submit a brief essay response.
- Candidates’ applications and supporting materials, including their response to the predetermined essay prompt, will be examined in order to determine the finalists, who will then be informed of their status at the time of admission in late January.
- The Stamps Family Charitable Foundation will then interview the finalists, and announcements regarding the Stamps Scholarship will be made in early March.
- Recipients of the Stamps Scholarship are obliged to take part in the early-April scholarship program at the University of Miami. Candidates will speak with UM faculty members and current scholars as part of this program to learn more about our interest-driven education.
