8 But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.
9 Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.
10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
11 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.
12 Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.
13 For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
14 Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

MFM Devotional For Today 2023 MESSAGE:
“Fear not” means that there is no reason for you to be afraid or worried. There is absolutely nothing for you to fear as a child of God. God demands from you, as His child, faith, not fear. Faith in Him as the Lord over the totality of your life gives you strength that overcomes all fears, both real and imagined.
Fear has been a part of man since the fall of Adam and Eve in Genesis 3:8-10. Everyone, regardless of how brave they seem, is afraid of something but the good thing is that for every day in a year, the word of God has made a provision for you not to be afraid of any situation. This is so because the command “fear not” appeared 365 times in the Bible and there are 365 days in a year. Beloved, you can see that God is wonderful. Even before you are born, there is a provision and God’s assurance that He cares about you. In Matthew 10:30-31, Jesus said that God is aware of everything that happens even to sparrows and you are far more valuable to Him than sparrows. You are so valuable to Him to the extent of sending His only Son to die for you.
So, you need not to fear personal threats or difficult trials because you are not alone. Jesus is with you in all your journeys, trials tests or tribulation. In John 16:33, He assured you that He has overcome the world. If you agree with this promise and assurance that Jesus gave them ultimate victory. You can claim the peace of Christ in the most troublesome times. Fear is the opposite of faith and without faith you cannot please God. Fear is to doubt God and no doubter can receive anything from God. In fact, doubt is a terrible sin before God. This was what made the children of God to wander in the wilderness for 40 years instead of 40 days’ journey.
Beloved, the first step to take for you to live above fear and in faith is to give your life to Christ. That is when you can successfully wage war against the spirit of fear and claim the promises of God for your life in Isaiah 41:8-14, today’s fire scripture.
PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
Spirit of fear, lose your hold upon my life now, in the name of Jesus Christ.
I break the bondage of fear upon my life, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Holy Spirit, strengthen my spirit man, in the name of Jesus Christ.
EVENING
Lord, increase my faith in You, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Holy Spirit, overshadow my life, in the name of Jesus Christ.
My life, jump out of the cage of the enemy, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Lord, let me experience the glory of Your presence, in the name of Jesus
