Born Frank Isimehen Oifoghe to the family of Late Chief Monday Oifoghe and Mrs Josephine Oifoghe, Frankincense who hails from Oria-Ugbokpa, is a seasoned Music Minister of the Gospel who is passionate about spreading the message of the Gospel via Music.

 

He has demonstrated leadership in the Ministry evident in his service as Music Director in a couple of Ministries beginning from his days at the University Campus (Grace Campus Ministry Choir, Uli, Anambra State). Other such ministries includes Living Faith Church Benin and Heaven’s Intervention Fire Ministry where he currently serves.

 

When asked his genre of music, Frankincense did mentioned a couple of genres ranging from Jazz, Rock, Highlife, Soul, Country and more. This probably contributes to his level of creativity as seen in the song “E Do Me Well“, where we see a combination of afro rock, Highlife and Country.

 

Frankincense is happily married to Grace-Joy Frank Oifoghe, a marriage that is blessed with one child. In the song “E Do Me Well”, he acknowledges the goodness and faithfulness of God, how that he is delighted by God’s doings , a song he rendered beautiful in Nigeria Pidgin English.
