Ugoya Benedict Ugbede hails from Ibaji Local Government Area of Kogi State, Nigeria. He was born on September 17, 1991 in Kano, Bompai Police Barracks. He is the first and only Son of his parent, amongst his siblings Mrs Joy Abutu, Naomi Ugoya and Judith Ugoya. He is born to the family of Mr and Mrs John Ifeanyi Ugoya (CSP Rtd). He is a graduate of Economics, from Kogi State University, Anyigba.
His passion for music began at age 12, listening to rappers like Eminem, 2pac, Kanye West and Jay Z. At age 19, he became born again and stopped rapping, until he discovered Gospel Rap at age 22. His passion for Gospel rap grew when he discovered the likes of Lecrae, Tedashii, Da’ Truth, Trip Lee and other great Gospel rap artists. He was inspired to write again and rap since then.
