Samuel AC – Broken Vessel

Sobriety was one of David’s unique attitudes that found him a special place in God’s heart.
“My sacrifice O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.” Psalm 51:17
In our path of following God and growing towards perfection, John admonishes us;
“My dear children, I write unto you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father – Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.” 1John 2:1
Everything about God is redemptive. God does not give up on anybody. If you are trapped in a mess, not just in the context of “sin”, but even through lives’ challenges, and you feel like throwing in the towel, please read this;
“A bruised reed He will not break, and a smoking flax shall he not quenched” Isaiah 42:3
Irrespective of how weak and defeated you may think of yourself, God is busy working out a perfect you; don’t give up yet, because the work is not done. Help is on the way.
“And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it. ”Jeremiah 18:4
“Broken Vessel” is a song of sobriety that expresses the heart of a passionate soul for revival and a depth of intimacy with God. May our hearts be quickened and drawn to the father by this, amen.
