Job Title: Foundation Manager
Location: Lagos
Reporting Relationships: Reports to Chief Executive Officer
Job Summary
- We are looking to hire a Foundation Manager that will be responsible for managing and implementing the Foundation’s strategic goals and objectives.
- The primary focus of the role at the outset will be setting up the Academy, this will then be followed by implementing the Foundation’s goals and objectives.
- The Foundation manager will need to be hands-on to ensure the effective running of the Foundation as well as effectively engage with the board of trustees and other relevant stakeholders.
- He/She will need to be creative as the role requires strategic level support with excellent operational output.
- He/She will also need to deliver the effective running of the center and partner with the School Board of Trustees to deliver the vision and mission of the school.
- This role will require occasional travel.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the foundation’s CEO on developing strategic approach and initiatives in line with its mission.
- Effective project management on delivery of foundation initiatives
- Efficient management and coordination of foundation activities
- Establish and effectively manage relationships with strategic partners (corporate, non-profit, education institutions & bodies, etc.)
- Effective implementation of fund-raising strategy (including managing donor relations, events
- Effective management of operational budget CFO.
- Develop and maintain a sustainable volunteer process to enable the foundation to deliver its vision
- Manage media and publicity as required by the foundation/initiatives working closely with relevant partners.
- Orchestrate and plan events as needed
- Manage and collaborate with 3rd parties to deliver key activities
- Adhoc request as they arise
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 5+ years working experience
- Experience in leading and delivering complex project
- Experience working in or with charities in Nigeria will be beneficial
- Good understanding of Nigeria NGO sector will be an added benefit
