QUICK NOTES 

1. It was God who noticed Adams need for a wife, not Adam. (Gen 2:8).
2. God had to put the man to sleep so as to do a thorough work without interruption.
3. God took a rib from the man and made the woman but when he made man he used dust, this implies that Man is raw material and woman is refined material.
4. Every man and every woman should be close enough to God to know the bone of their bones and the flesh of their flesh.
5. In order to cleave you must leave.

NOTES: Eternal interference is the enemy of internal coherence

Before a home can be built, wisdom should be on ground (Prov 24:3-4), You cant build a family, future, and home without wisdom. Wise people build but foolish people destroy (Prov 31:10).

 

BENEFITS OF MARITAL HARMONY 

1.  For the full release of potential. (Ecc 4:9).
2. For the mutual sharing of life’s resources (Ecc 4:11).
3. For the proper development of the Children (Mal 2:14). i.e The quality of the home determines the quality of the children.
4. For guaranteed access to God in prayer (1 Pet 3:7).
5. For the frustration of evil activity (James 3:16).

 

WISDOM FOR A SUCCESSFUL RELATIONSHIP (TIPS TO MAKE RELATIONSHIP WORK)

1. Understand your partner, know the likes and dislikes.
2. Lubricate your relationship with communications (Verbal and Nonverbal).
3. Roll together (pray, fast, study, and together).
4. Forgive liberally.
5. Play and have fun together (Gen 26:8).
