TOPIC: There Is Blessing In Consistency (TREM Devotional 11 September 2021)

“Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him.” Genesis 26:12 KJV

According to our text, Isaac stayed there for a long time because he felt safe in the strange land. Eventually, one of the years, Isaac sowed in that land and received in the same year a hundred fold. This speaks of consistency. God saw his commitment, dedication and faithfulness. And God said: “I can’t let it go.” That same year, Isaac reaped a hundred fold and the Lord blessed him. May the lord bless you and increase the works of your hand.

Isaac had great possessions. He waxed great and went forward. He grew until he became very great. May God cause you to wax great, go forward and become very great! According the scripture: “For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.” (Genesis 26:14 KJV)

Beloved, do you know that God wants the world to envy you and not for you to envy the world? But today, a lot of believers envy the world. We want to join them to do what they are doing. That is nonsense! Some of them are involved in occultism. They have sold their souls for money. Some of them do different kinds of evil, all for money! All you see is the fizzy! All that glitters is not gold! Please be careful with this quick fix mentality and get rich syndrome.

As a matter of fact, the church you attend in this day and hour matters! Be careful. All that you are seeing is not all there is. I know a lot of things in my few years of sojourn on earth that if I begin to tell you, you will be frightened. How can human beings be so wicked? All for material things which God can give to you? God wants to bless you to the point the world will envy you. All you need to do is to make the necessary adjustments in your life and watch God decorate your life with blessings.
