FIRE SCRIPTURE: Joel 3:1-14 (KJV)
1 For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.
3 And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.
4 Yea, and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? will ye render me a recompence? and if ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompence upon your own head;
5 Because ye have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my goodly pleasant things:
6 The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians, that ye might remove them far from their border.
7 Behold, I will raise them out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your recompence upon your own head:
8 And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the LORD hath spoken it.
9 Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:
10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD.
12 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.
13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.

The MESSAGE:
Today, lots of people are languishing in the valley of confusion. Today’s devotional study has been vomited by the Holy Spirit to rescue such people.
A woman brought a man to me and said, “Man of God, I want to marry this man.” I said to her, “What did God tell you?” She said, “God did not tell me anything, I just want to marry the man because I love him.” I said, “What do you like about him?” She said, “Man of God, I like the shape of his nose.” I said, “Is that why you want to marry him?” She said, “Yes” and I said, “You need to pray.” She said that she had prayed. Then I turned to the man and said, “Sir, is she your first woman?” He said, “She will be my number five.” I said, “Did you hear what he just said?” She said, “Yes.” I said, “Sir, what happened to your first wife?” He said, “She died.” What of your number two, three and four?” I asked, he said, “They all died.” I turned to the sister again and said, “Did you hear what he said?” She said, “Okay sir, I will go and pray.” That is what we call confusion. Women need to pray more than men, because this spirit of confusion is more common with them.
When I was in the university, there was this course they called Physical Chemistry. Many students did not like it at all and the teachers were not helping matters. So, many students did not understand the course which they were expected to pass before they could graduate. One day, the lecturer who never talked to anybody except the chalkboard made the situation worse. You would just be reading what he was writing, but will not hear what he was saying. After he had finished, one boy got so confused that he said, “Excuse me sir, can I ask a question? “We cannot hear what you are writing and we cannot see what you are saying.” That was physical confusion.
But spiritual confusion is worse. Incidentally, this is the spirit that has been released in these last days, upon humanity like never before. But, then, there is still hope for the multitudes who are marooned in the valley of confusion, if they are aware of it and decide to seek for divine help today.

MORNING
Every power within and around me that is behind losses in my life, be exposed and die, in the name of Jesus.
Every evil altar assigned against my blessings, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
Every power of poverty of my father’s/mother’s house, my life is not your candidate, die, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
Every witchcraft coven, assigned against my blessings, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
Every ancestral spirit of poverty, loose your hold and die, in the name of Jesus.
Every evil altar ministering poverty into my life, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
Every habitation of financial losses in my life, become desolate, in the name of Jesus.
