Genesis 15:1; After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
Deuteronomy 31:8; And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
Isaiah 35:4; Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.
Isaiah 41:13; For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

The MESSAGE:
Today, we shall learn how to deal with the paralyzing force of fear. Fear has been used by the enemy to torment those who have failed to recognise their God-given power.
When you overcome fear, you have overcome the devil. Satan trembles when you refuse to fear.
It is the fearful that says, “Oh! The witch doctor next door will kill me o.” It is the fearful that says, you as a spinster will never find a husband. It is the fearful that says, “Stop praying, go and try something else.” It is the fearful that says, “This sickness will never go.” It is the fearful that says, “If you leave this boyfriend or your sugar-daddy, you will starve.” It is the fearful that says, “Just keep your money in the bank and don’t bring it out. Don’t serve God with it. If you serve God with it, there won’t be anything left for you. Remember the rainy days!” It is the fearful that says to a lady, “Go to your husband’s office and start fighting all the secretaries there because they will snatch your husband away.” It is the fearful that complains that, “My mother in-law is a witch. My father in-law is a lodge member. So, I am stuck. I am done for.”
Reject the spirit of fear, because faith has no place for fear. It is a multi-purpose weapon. As a saint, when you begin to exercise your faith, you will frighten the devil. Believers are not supposed to negotiate with the devil. Rather, we are to cast him out. Unfortunately, many believers try to strike a bargain with the devil. But when such believers see that the bargain is not working, then they come back to the house of God.
Perhaps you are still contributing money to slaughter sacrificial goats. If you still do so, you are striking a bargain with the devil. It is dangerous to want to stay in two opposing camps. Maybe you are saying that if you don’t give them your own part of the money, the problem they are prophesying will come to you. So, you paid your own share; but you stay with God because you are afraid of hell fire. This is striking a balance with the devil. Such an ambivalent attitude, which is the offspring of fear, cannot produce any positive result. As a believer, fear is not your lot. The righteous is not cowardly; he is as bold as a lion! Fear is not your lot. The righteous is as bold as a lion.

MORNING
My Father, let Your Spirit guide me and let Your light inspire me, in the name of Jesus.
Father, give me a listening ear for divine direction, in the name of Jesus.
My Father, You are the light that shines on my path, let Your light give me insight and understanding that would help me to make good decisions, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
Holy Spirit, You are my source of wisdom, guide me and direct me always, in the name of Jesus.
My Father, let me no longer see men after the flesh alone, give me a discerning eye, in the name of Jesus.
Holy Spirit, arise in Your illuminating power and envelope my life, in the name of Jesus.
Let the wisdom of the Ancient fall upon me, in the name of Jesus.
