The MESSAGE:
The story of blind Bartimaeus is loaded with challenges. The odds were against him but he used His voice to arrest Jesus’ attention.
Brother Wigglesworth, who was an aggressive evangelist said that, one day, God said to him, “Stand up, son and go into the market place. I have eleven souls to save through you there today.” He went to the market place and stayed there. As people were passing by, he kept asking the Lord, “Is it this one Lord?” If the Lord said no, he would let the person go, but when the Lord said “Yes, that is the one”, Wigglesworth, in his known crude manner would rush to the person and say, “Are you born again?” If his answer was no, he would say to him, “You must be born again now!” And right there in the market place, he would open the Bible and begin to teach the person. On the whole, all the people he approached that day gave their lives to Christ. There was another day that the Lord again told Wigglesworth that eleven people would get born again through him in the market place. On that day, he got ten; and the eleventh person was not forthcoming before the market started closing and he too was getting impatient. So, he stood there until everybody went away from the market.
Later, somebody came on a chariot and the Lord said, “That is the man.” Wigglesworth ran and jumped on the chariot and said to the man, “Is it because of you that I have been waiting so long? Give your life to Christ now!” And the man said, “Yes sir,” and he gave his life to Christ immediately. Two days later, Wigglesworth read in one of the local newspapers that the man had died the following day. This is why spiritual opportunities should not be lost but used to the fullest.
PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
- Everything programmed into my life in the heavenlies, I dismantle you, in the name of Jesus.
- I recover all my virtues dedicated to the elements, in the name of Jesus.
- Any power, bewitching my star, fall down and die, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
- Unbroken curses troubling my star, break, in the name of Jesus.
- Any power redirecting my star, die, in the name of Jesus.
- I retrieve all my properties dedicated to the sun, the moon, the stars and the elements by the power of darkness, in the name of Jesus.
- O Lord, guide my words and let them bear fruits, in the name of Jesus.
